The house was built in 1920 and some of the
large trees and rhododendrons were probably planted then.
Dunedin has a
temperate climate so a wide range of plants can be grown and the previous owners,
Paul and Karen, have lovingly tended to the garden and developed it into a
beautiful oasis in the city. Karen planted many old style heritage and David Austin
roses, which have the most wonderful scent.
Also, they designed and built a potager organic garden where we are growing vegetables,
fruit and herbs. The garden is also home to many native plants which makes the native
birds very happy.
Guests are welcome to go and be in the garden.
